TIME AFTER TIME

Theme: Draw two beings reincarnated as two different mythical creatures and these will serve as our group mascots.

Choose two creatures that have known each other for all of eternity, or at least through many reincarnations. Perhaps once they were ancient lover gods, and now they have reincarnated as creatures magical but mortal to test that love. Maybe once they were human enemies but they were reincarnated in their next life as a unicorn and a dragon or perhaps a harpy and a basilisk. Either way, they may be two different creatures now, but their interaction is eternal. Are they lovers or fighters? Are they siblings or enemies? You can show them battling, embracing, playing, dancing or whatever you like.

Tell the story of how they re-met each other after being reincarnated and how their relationship is right now. Have they always felt that way about each other? if not, how did their relationship change? Do they remember each other from reincarnation to reincarnation, and if so, how? Design them as much as you like, adding history and story if you'd like. The beings be our group mascots, so they should be original characters. The image should be appropriate to use as our icon (it can be any size, but this implies that it would probably be a landscape format).

RULES
1. The image must include two mythical creatures interacting. The characters MUST be original and they must look like a mythical creature (or made up creature). They cannot be normal animals or people.They have to be original characters for this contest.
2. Images must be submitted by April 7, 2012
3. The Image must include a short story that includes the following as a minimum (see above for details):
------- A name for each character
------- A brief history of the characters and what they were before they reincarnated (or transformed/cursed/had brain transplants into new bodies, you can be creative) into their current form
------- Describe how they met and their relationship
4. Entrants can donate prizes.
5. The use of linearts is not allowed.
6. Judging will be conducted by group vote.

I am very sorry to drop the ball on everyone. My grandmother got ill and I became her caretaker. She passed away, but I was so busy helping my family that I lost track of everything. It has taken me a couple months to recover, but I would like to extend an invitation to everyone to submit to the Time after Time Contest. If your prior request to enter an image was declined because I didn't get a chance to OK the image into our gallery, please resubmit. Either way, I will be granting a free headshot to everyone who actually got their image in on time. However, for those of you who would like to submit anew image, I will allow it.
